Connecting to GENNECT Cloud: Cloud monitor
- Sharing and logging measured values from field measuring instruments in real time (at a 1-minute interval)
- Receiving immediate notification in the event of an anomaly
- Aggregating measured values from multiple instruments in a single graph

Features
Reviewing a field measuring instrument’s measured values in real time from a remote location
The cloud monitor function lets you log measured values at a 1-minute interval using GENNECT Cloud.
Values, which are updated in real time, can be viewed from GENNECT Cross or a web browser.
This remote measurement function lets you review values via the cloud from a remote location.
Saving GENNECT polled data (logging data sampled at a 1-minute interval) in the cloud

Logging data that is saved at a 1-minute interval in GENNECT Cloud is known as GENNECT polled data.
GENNECT polled data includes not only values uploaded from GENNECT Cross, but also measured values from One.
Collectively, this GENNECT polled data is updated in real time using GENNECT Cloud’s monitor function.
Displaying a graph of data immediately

All GENNECT polled data is saved in GENNECT Cloud.
You can easily review past data and display it in a graph to assess measured value fluctuations.
You can also aggregate data measured at the same time from other GENNECT services into a single graph.
High-speed monitor mode (Basic and Pro plans only)
High-speed monitor mode is useful when display updates at a 1-minute interval are too slow to capture variations in measured values.
When you enable high-speed monitor mode, the display will be updated at a 5-second interval (depending on your communications environment) for 10 minutes.
However, the logging interval remains 1 minute, even when using high-speed monitor mode. Only display updates are accelerated.
Detecting anomalies and reporting them immediately with push notifications
A notification is issued when a comparison of previously configured alarm conditions and GENNECT polled data indicates that the conditions have been satisfied.
In addition to email, LINE, and other recipient settings, push notifications can be sent to any device on which GENNECT Cross has been installed.
Choosing the right cloud plan for your application
GENNECT Cloud offers free and paid plans for various applications.
The plans differ in terms of the service’s content, including the number of users who can participate in an account, the amount of available storage space, and the availability of high-speed monitor mode.
When using a paid plan, monthly fees apply for each account. Fees are based on accounts, rather than users.
For example, the Basic plan allows up to 10 users to participate in an account. If you pay for one account each month, you can create up to 10 users. Payments do not apply to individual users.
