Viewing measured values from a distance
Associated issues

- You’ve attached a current clamp meter inside the confined space of a distribution panel, but now you can’t see the display.
- You want to work on the front side of a distribution panel while making measurements on the back.
- You want to show your coworker measured values in real time.
Solved by GENNECT Cross!
- Measured values are displayed in real time, at the same time as on the instrument.
- The app can communicate even when the device is positioned a bit away from the instrument using Bluetooth® communications (line-of-sight range: 10 m).

Since instruments connect to GENNECT Cross using Bluetooth® wireless communications, there are no cables. If there are no obstructions between the device and the instrument, the straight-line range is 10 m.
GENNECT Cross can display the measured values shown on the instrument in real time.
Consequently, you can check measured values even if you’re a short distance away from the instrument, or in a location where you can’t see the instrument’s display.
By using GENNECT Cloud, you can even view instruments on the other side of the planet.
If you use GENNECT Cloud (a cloud service operated by Hioki), you can also make measurements remotely.
Measured values displayed on instruments are logged on the service’s cloud server via GENNECT Cross.
You can log in to the cloud service from a web browser from anywhere to not only check measured values in real time, but also display graphs of past measurement data.
