Connecting to GENNECT Cloud: Alarms

Receive GENNECT Cloud alarms via push notification
  • Alarm notifications are sent as push notifications by GENNECT Cloud.
  • They help ensure abnormal measured values aren’t missed.
  • Power quality events and Memory HiCorder triggers can be reviewed in real time.

Features

Using push notifications to ensure anomalies aren’t missed

GENNECT Cloud allows you to configure three types of alarm. Two involve measured values, and the third involves the system.
Alarms trigger immediate notification using the configured method. Notification methods include email, LINE, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and GENNECT Cross.

GENNECT One alarm notifications can be received by GENNECT Cross

Notification types

GENNECT polled data

A notification is issued when a comparison of previously configured alarm conditions and GENNECT polled data indicates that the conditions have been satisfied.
Since measured values from the GENNECT Cross cloud monitor function are also saved in the cloud as GENNECT polled data, they can use the alarm function.

Instrument data files

A notification is issued when an instrument connected to GENNECT One creates a new instrument data file.
If automatic uploads have been enabled, a notification is issued when a file is uploaded to the cloud.

System notifications A notification is issued when a gateway is connected or disconnected, and when gateway storage is close to being full.
