Harmonic Analysis

Harmonic measurement up to the 30th order
  • This function measures current or voltage harmonics.
  • It’s ideal for preliminary investigations before making detailed measurements, for example with a waveform recorder.
  • Harmonics up to the 30th order and total harmonic distortion (THD-F, THD-R)
  • You can log harmonic data.
Display a graph and magnitude for each order at the same time.

Features

Harmonic analysis

The software calculates and displays the harmonic level, content percentage, and total harmonic distortion (THD-F, THD-R) for each order at an interval of approximately 5 s. Data is displayed as a graph at the same time.

The fundamental frequency can be either manually fixed (50 Hz or 60 Hz) or set automatically. In addition, the display can be toggled to show only odd-order harmonics, and these values can be collectively saved.

Display a graph and magnitude for each order at the same time.
You can change display settings on the settings screen.

Logging (continuous measurement)

Harmonic data can also be logged. Simply set the logging interval and logging measurement time to start logging harmonic data.

  • Logging interval: Time interval at which to perform automatic measurement (5 sec. or greater)
  • Logging measurement time: Duration for which to perform automatic measurement (up to 24 hours)

*Exercise care with regard to the battery level when performing logging for extended periods of time. If the battery runs out while logging is in progress, the instrument will not be able to continue measurement.
