Can I change my license plan partway through a subscription?
Yes. The plan can be changed.
You can change your license plan at any time on the management screen.
When you change your plan, the number of days remaining in the license will be increased or decreased based on the cost difference between the old and new plans.
No additional payment will be required.

If you have a GENNECT Cloud license
Changing from the Basic plan to the Pro plan

- The number of days remaining will be 1/5th the previous number (fractional days will be rounded down).
- If you plan to pay with a license card, purchase GENNECT Cloud Pro license cards in the future.
- If you plan to pay with automatic ongoing payments (a subscription), your next GENNECT Cloud Pro plan payment date will become the expiration date for the new license.
Changing from the Pro plan to the Basic plan

- The number of days remaining will be 5× the previous number.
- If you plan to pay with a license card, purchase GENNECT Cloud Standard license cards in the future.
- If you plan to pay with automatic ongoing payments (a subscription), your next GENNECT Cloud Standard payment date will become the expiration date for the new license.
- The maximum number of remaining days is 403. The portion of the license that exceeds 403 days will be invalidated.
Your storage space will decrease from 500 GB to 50 GB. Note that if your data is using more than 50 GB, it will be deleted one month after the plan is changed. In addition, logins will be restricted if the number of users or measurement groups exceeds the upper limit following the plan change.
